Addiction & Recovery

Picture
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  The opioid addiction crisis in the US is in the headlines seemingly every day - as it probably should be - because it affects so many of us.  Addiction has many faces other than drugs and alcohol, and when you're trying to recover from the hell of addiction of any kind it certainly helps to have hope, inspiration, and access to resources.

Pebbles of Wisdom.  These folks have faced some of life's toughest challenges, learned their lessons, emerged stronger, and have chosen to do something to help others facing addiction issues.  They've chosen to share their personal stories to give hope and inspiration to others during dark times and we hope their stories bring you light and encouragement to help you along your own path.
(Using a desktop browser you can "hover" over the picture for a summary and then click on their picture to check out a brief video of them sharing their story)

Resources, programs, and communities.  There are a plethora of local, regional, national and international organizations, programs, and communities to turn to for help when dealing with issues of addiction & recovery.   To discover those that most closely align with what you're looking for, just set the filters below as you wish and the results will display automatically.  When you find a resource that you want to learn more about just click on it and you'll be taken to their resource page.  Remember - you aren't alone in your struggle and you can persevere!

IMPORTANT!  We're providing this list to help you find help when you need it, but we can't take responsibility for what other organizations or individuals do.  It is your responsibility to do due diligence when engaging with a new organization or community. )
